Healthy Fabric Protects From Cancer
When we buy clothes, we look at the color, pattern and how it looks on us. However, what we should pay attention to is whether the clothes are produced from natural and healthy fabrics. Clothing that does not comply with international standards can cause serious health problems, up to cancer. It is not the color or pattern that shows the quality of the fabric; raw material, which chemical processes it goes through and that it is produced from healthy material. In order to choose healthy fabrics when shopping for clothes, first of all, it is necessary to know the types of fabrics.

Which Fabrics Are Healthy, Which Are Harmful?

Material; It is a product obtained by weaving yarns produced from natural materials such as cotton, wool, linen and silk. Fabrics used in the production of clothing are divided into healthy and harmful according to their fiber origin. The most important feature of healthy fabrics is that they are produced with natural raw materials. Fabrics obtained from natural fibers such as cotton, linen, hemp, silk, wool, alpaca, angora, cashmere, mohair, ramie and aluyot are healthy.

Artificial fabrics produced with nanotechnology, which do not wrinkle, do not stain, and neon colored or printed clothes can cause diseases that threaten human health. Formaldehyde, a chemical used in non-wrinkle fabrics, causes lung and skin cancer. Even touching fabrics containing colorants (azo dyes) above the permissible limit can cause cancer. Synthetic fabrics such as rayon, polyester, acrylic, acetate and nylon are harmful to health.
